Finale does have a very simple, free OCR program called MidiScan built into it. Generally this program will not be powerful enough to fill the needs of most projects, although it can be useful for very simple music. In general, you will do better to use one of the other more powerful programs that can interface with Finale. There are 2 of these, SmartScore and SharpEye. For more information, write me at winsupport@codamusic.com. Put my name in the subject so it comes to me, and I will send you the information that I've collected on this subject.
