Message:
im using sibelius to arrange percussion parts, and i was wondering if anyone else knew of a way for sibelius to recognize a diddle (note with a slash through the stem) during playback? is there a way to program symbols to have an effect on the note value? I've worked with finale 98 and know that is possible with finale. I'm just trying to figure out a way to write just one arrangement for both visual and playback purposes instead of 2 seperate arrangements.
if that is not possible, what about layers? i know certain staves can be hidden, but can you hide certain layers as well? if that is possible than i could write playback parts in a different layer on the same stave as the visual parts and just hide that layer. thanks for any help.
