Chord symbols change themselves!

Message:I'm new to entering chord symbols. In a particular piece I'm working on, for certain chords that I enter either manually or via MIDI, after I enter the chord symbol in Chord Definition dialogue box, when I go back to my piece the chord symbol has changed (in this case an DbM7 is changed to an EM7). Then when I doubleclick on the symbol the dialogue reads the correct chord symbol but still indicates the incorrect symbol whenever in page view! Does this problem have something to do with conflict b/w chords I'm playing and the established key signature? They should be independent of each other regardless so I don't see why that would be a factor.Thanks, pd
