Hi folks - this question isn't directly about Finale, but you're the best online community I've found for digital music, so I might as well ask here.I've just joined a chorus (for the first time in ages) and though I have reasonable experience with software, I'm very new to music software. In addition to getting into Code products I'm looking for other tools.
Is there any decent software out there that can slow down playback of MP3s or CD tracks? I've downloaded the "Amazing Slow-Downer" from ronimusic.com and I guess it's okay but it's $60 for the real version and it seems to leak memory like crazy and the user interface is perverse.
A Shareware.com search didn't turn up much. (There was one program that had 20,000 downloads in 21 months, so there must be some market interest in this ability, but the user ratings were 65% "thumbs down".)
I have a feature wishlist in mind but I'll hold off until I find out if there's ANY hope, heh heh...
