Message:
Hi! I´m a swedish mac OS X user of Finale 2002 and Microsoft Word 2001 / v.X. (I run Finale in OS 9.2 though )
I have a slight problem exproting eps files from finale to MS Word.
I´m a arranger of guitarmusic and I´ve made my own library with guitarsymbols and my intensions are to use these in short musicsamples pasted in word with surrounding text.

Now to the problem...

The symbol I´ve created looks just perfectly fine in Finale. A circle with a number in it to indicate a certain string on the guitar. When I import these eps-files in word they all look just the same as in finale, except for the symbols described above. The number in the circle has lost its posistion. Is this just a "on-screen-problem" or what? I havn´t had the opperturnity to try it on my printer yet. I´ve just ordered a brand new laserwriter (brother) unfortunatally without
My questions are:
1. Do I need postscript to print these files?
2. Why do the symbols look diffrent in finale / word?
3. How can I fix this? Is there any font-application I can purchase that solves this problem?

Please help me someone....
And forgive me for my terrible english =)
