Message: I don't know the details for the MAC but on the PC the PDF writer works with my Finale, but it makes huge files compared to those made with real Adobe Acrobat. The Acrobat Distiller is much more efficient. The PDF writer is OK for quick checks or for text only files but graphic intensive stuff, like Finale output really needs the real thing to be effecient. File size will be a large factor if you intend to put them on a web page or email them. Hope this helps
