I do it exactly the same way - and from waht I heard from other prof. arranger's unfortunately this is still the easiest way to go. Very unfortunate that Finale does not use what computers are best at, namely doing a lot of similar things at once instead of having the user do it. Somehow this reminds me of entering the same addresses over and over instead of using fields (Wordprocessing). It makes absolutely no sense to not have the option of changing data for ALL extracted parts in one place and still have the score look good...
