Re: Irregular bar number fonts.

I've manually set the measure numbering in part to show on every system … There is no setting called “show on every system”, Perhaps you mean “Show on Start of Staff System”? … it works for all bar numbers except the first ones of each system … This is confusing. “Show on Start of Staff System” mea...

You can see a multimeasure rest in Page View, but never in Scroll View. You will always see the individual measures in Scroll View. To break a multimea...

Catalina may be the culprit.

MakeMusic recommends that you do not upgrade to Catalina until you have installed the next Finale v26 maintenance update (which is expected to be released in approximately a month)

The layout certainly looks like a Font Annotation file is missing.

Take a look in the folder Font Annotation.
What .FAN files are there?

Re: Create multimeasure rests in linked parts

MichaelGlennWilliams,

The command
Multimeasure rests > Break
will break all multimeasure rests in the selected region of the score/part you are currently viewing.

In Other Words:
- first select a region,
- then run Multimeasure Rests > Break.

Are you using the Simple Entry Tool, or the Speedy Entry Tool?

To mute playback during Simple Entry:
Simple menu > Simple Entry Options…
De-select Playback Notes on Entry.

To mute playback during Speedy Entry:
Speedy menu > Playback (un-check)

What did I do? Thanks. Your pedal metatools are document specific, not program specifi...

You do know that there are two identically named Finale folder hierarchies, one at the System level, and another in your user account, right?

What is the process for Mac? Unfortunately in Mac OS the user account’s Library folder is hidden by default. But there is a way to get there: From the Finder, hold down Option, and pull down the Go menu. Because of the Option key, the user account’s (hidden) Library folder is listed in the Go menu....

There are several ways to flip stems in TAB.

In order to give you the best possible help we need more info from you.

Why do you need to flip the stem?
Could you attach a graphic showing the layout you need?

Re: Bug in deleting notes in chord?

If I understand you correctly, you are using the Simple Entry Tool’s sub-tool Eraser Tool to delete the note, right? Since the note is so low, it may too far below the staff, so that the Eraser Tool actually affects the staff below. Instead, select the note. You can move the selection highlighting b...

That bar could “be displayed” - but it should not print. My first guess would be that the hairpins are not completely aligned.

I would set the Copy Filter to copy only Smart Shapes (Assigned to Beats).
Then, copy the bassoon staff’s hairpin to the other staves.
