Thanks, I have installed the american mapping and set an hotkey (it works only if switched after Finale has been opened), now I can cycle the layers in ascending order by clicking on SHIFT+', not bad. It should works also without SHIFT and cycle the layers in inverse order, but strangely it has an o...

My keyboard layout is like this: http://www.cuccalofferta.com/immagini/bombay/tastiera_logi1.jpg The view menu shows ALT+SHIFT+n, while the speedy entry menu shows ' and ". Obviously I can change layer by clicking on the submenu. I tried to push " or ' (also with the SHIFT button) but it does not wo...

Thanks for the replies. That shortcut is uncomfortable, I'm searching for a 2 keys combination. In addition I use to work with the num pad: to click the ALT+number (not the one on the num pad, it does not work) I have to move my left hand on the other side of the keyboard, not so bad, neither so fas...

Hi, is there a keyboard shortcut to change layers in finale 2009 (PC) without the boring ALT+SHIFT+number combination? Thanks.

Sustain pedal and crash
Hi, I have a problem with Finale 2009: when I'm using Kontakt with GPO, if a flute is playing and the sustain pedal is depressed the sound disappears and the program crashes. This doesn't happen if I'm playing with a piano sound. Obviously I'm not going to play a flute using the sustain pedal, the f...

Problem with linked notes
Hi, I have a problem with tuplets: http://img200.imageshack.us/i/tuplets.jpg/ I have recorded two parts playing my piano, the problem is that while on the left hand part all recorded as eights, the right hand part contains what I recorded as tuplets. The result is that I can't see no tuplets but 8th...

Audio export crash
Hi, I own finale 2009, with the "b" patch installed. Sometimes it crashes when I try to export my composition as an audio file or midi file. The most annoying thing is that it is impossible to start another finale session (quitting the program by the Task manager window), so that I have to restart m...

I think I'm going into the right direction, I tried with the "automatic pedaling" in custom human playback window. This works as an automatic sustain: the problem is that it works on each note intead on the whole measure, so that the result is bad.
Can you tell me how to modify the sustain duration?

Sustain and exporting audio
Hi I'm new, I'm using this wonderful notation software (2009 edition) but I'm having some troubles: 1- I can't understand how to insert an AUTOMATIC sustain into my piano sheet. Automatic does not mean inserting the sustain event through the pedal, but means inserting it by using the "Midi tool" or ...
