Version 2007b.r1 With another out of memory problem I Googled it and came here. For what it's worth now (probably very little) I have had this problem for a number of years and no amount of copying or step by step debugging cures it. I always have the maximum amount of RAM. In fact I was persuaded t...

Just as a post script - if anybody is comfortable running batch files from the Windows command prompt, the file below will successively open each .MUS file and wait until you exit Allegro before it opens the next one. e.g. Make a file called run.bat in the directory where your .mus files are and typ...

Playing score in sequence
Thanks for your reply again. When you say 'combine' the scores, do you mean from within Allegro? It only allows me to open multiple scores separately - I don't see a way of combining them from the tools and menus. Or do you mean something like the copy/append command from the windows command prompt?

Allegro - automatically playing scores in sequence?
Having a flat panel computer screen on the keyboard lets you play a score without the need for paper and page turning which is a great boon. My question is - if you have a number of scores that you want to play sequentially in natural succession, is there a way of loading and playing each one apart ...

Finale Allegor Lyrics
Thanks for the info. My SATB are on separate staves with mostly one voice on each stave but occasionally more. I did what you suggest and I can now get lyrics on other staves as you suggest. The only comment I have is that you seem to have to start a word on a note - you can't start on an empty bar....

I don't seem to have grasped the way to use lyrics. My score has SATB parts and I am trying to type into the score the words. I can get the S words in but whenever I position the lyrics cursor over another voice and try to type in the words nothing happens - no cursor appears where the first word sh...
