I am also having this problem after installing Windows 11. I have uninstalled/reinstalled but the problem persists.
But if I open Finale as 'administrator' this error doesn't present itself.

Thank you for your response. I didn't try the system restore solution, but I did find a solution that worked. I uninstalled Finale. Then I created a new user profile and re-installed Finale. Finale now works just fine using the new user profile. I believe that my original profile had become corrupted.
