I'm sorry, not the measure tool but the staff tool. Double Click on the square next to the clef and check the 'staff name in score' or part.

I think I solved the problem although it is a process. I have to click on the measure tool, check 'staff names in parts', and 'staff names in score'. Then go up to file and extract parts and move the instrument name over to where it shows on the page then save each extracted part. Whew! Why can't it...

Instrument names are not printing on the page. I have to extract the part, change the page layout and then print. If I close the score, I have to do it again when I re-open, it does not save the preferences. My son, who has a PC does not have this problem. Help!

I also have a mac and 2009 Finale, when I try to play, it closes w/o saving and if I click human playback preference, it closes. Very annoying.
