Re: No audio for Garritan Steinway pt.2
Do your other Garritan sounds playback?
Why bank 2?
Is Steinway Piano assigned to the correct staff in your Score Manager?

Re: Exporting audio file problem!!!
Where are you saving your exported file?
I have had problems with the last several versions exporting audio files into folders.
The problem is solved by saving the exported file to the desktop.
I can then move it into folders several layers down.

Re: Multi-measure Repeats
This looks exactly like what I want.
How did you hide the rest symbol and replace it with the repeat symbol?

Re: Multi-measure Repeats
Interesting. I found the example online and it looked cleaner to me than including all the individual repeats. I would also save staves and allow for more spacing. If there's no way to automate the process, I'll follow your recommendations. (Deleting the measures would create measure number issues t...

Re: Multi-measure Repeats
I'm trying to do a multi-measure repeat with the symbol in one measure
and a number over the top to indicate how many measure to play the pattern.
Kind of like combine a multi-measure rest and a measure repeat symbol.
Any suggestions on how to do that?

Scoring for orchestra - best practices
I'm working on my second arrangement for choir and orchestra and would love some input from the forum on the best way to deal with parts, particularly multiple voices on the same staff. I've found that if the rhythms are the same, my full score is cleaner when I keep both parts in the same layer wit...

Re: Tempo Woes
I changed the setting. So far, so good.
I'll keep you posted.
Yes, I think the lack of HP in click play is just part of the way the program works.
It would be nice to have this corrected or at least have the option to include HP, even if it takes longer to load.

Tempo Woes
I'm having problems getting my piece to playback at the correct tempo. The starting tempo is set to quarter note equals 108. When I shift click to start playback at other points in the score, it usually plays back at about half the speed, though recently it's been playing back faster than the design...

Does the melody drop out when you use playback in Finale, or only when you export to midi?

Don't know if you ever solved this problem or not. I'm having problems with a particular Finale 2009 document that is consistently dropping the same notes when played through Audio Units. When I switched to Play Finale Through Midi, all the notes played. The notes were dropped whether I used the pla...

The repeat box is not designed to work as a loop tool for playback. The repeat box in the Playback controls is tied to the repeat tool. If you expand the box you will notice a repeat box under both the from and to headings. You cannot select an additional repeat unless you have added a repeat with t...
