I'm writing a song in ¾ time signature, and I've tried to create triplets with four quarter notes in a ¾ compass but I couldn't. What is the trick to do this? Any help?

I use Finale version 27 for Mac. When I try to write an arpeggio symbol, it's hard to keep it upright. I use the symbol I find in the Shapes menu. Am I looking in the wrong menu?

How can I write a scale in several octaves with quarter notes without showing barlines and only showing the clef? How can I avoid the barlines in the system as in Figure attached? I'm using Finale v.25.5 for Mac.

I use Finale v25.5, and I'm trying to write the third and fourth measures as in the attached Fig 1. The time signature is 4/4, but the third measure has the equivalent to 9 quarter notes and the fourth measure has the equivalent to 10 quarter notes. I can't figure out how to do this. Any help? Thank you very much for your replay. It solved my problem. The problem with Finale is that it's impossible to remember all these details. But this forum is great; I always find someone that has the right answer.

When I create Multimeasure Rests like in Fig. 1 and I put a chord in the beginning, when I try to print a copy or print a PDF, just before the printing, Finale changes the layout and the first measure is separated as in Fig 2.

Hi Peter, thank you for your reply. I opened the menu but I could not see the option to change the groups of the top staff and bottom staff. I tried to change some combinations in the menu but without success. I don't know why this happens because I have several parts where this problem doesn't occur.
