Re: Sudden switch to layer 2!
I believe I clicked (or double-clicked) on a section of layer 2 while working in layer 1, and that put me into Layer 2. I just discovered that this is how you can switch quickly between layers, which I do NOT like; I'd rather have to press the layer 2 button at the lower left corner or do a key comb...

Re: Sudden switch to layer 2!
Well, thanks all. Indeed, I found the Edit > Move/Copy Layer command. Whew!
Now I gotta find out what I pressed in what combinination with what hand to cause that miscreant section of obstreperous notes to have found their way into layer 2!
Thanks again, all,
Starkman

Sudden switch to layer 2!
Hello all, Well, this was weird! I was entering notes into PM 2011 and suddenly I realized that some of the sections were in layer 2 (I guess it's called...when you want a second voice). I hadn't switched to layer 2, however, and even when cutting that section out, going to layer 1 and pasting it th...

Well, I'm a brand new user of PrintMusic (my first and only purchase of music notation software). I also purchased the Garritan GPO4 and Jazz Band 3 along with PM, but I'll have to say that I'm quite disappointed with how those libraries sound. Softsynth, amazingly, is better all around better. I gu...

The best tutorial is to be a disciple of THIS forum. Spend time digging through the archives. Learn the language. Every facet of the program has been covered here, it just takes a little patience to find the process. And best of all, it doesn't cost you a thing! Oh, for sure. I've got a study syste...

You're going to be limited to what Finale gives you: the tutorials and videos included with the program. I don't think anybody has done anything beyond that, strictly for PM. You can always use the same advanced books that are for Finale; just remember that you won't be able to use many of the feat...

Spam words???
Okay, I'm getting frustrated! :x What in the world am I doing wrong when posting that the forum constantly says that it's detecting spam or retail-sale attempts in my post? For the love of pete, I tell you! (Or, in the worlds of...what was her name...Susan Powder...something like that: STOP THE INSA...
