Thanks for the thought. What a company says about compatability and the reality can often be a different matter! I think maybe I'll go in stages and update to Mojave first.

I'm about to make a leap from Sierra (Mac) to either Mojave or Catalina. This means updating various other components and also the MacPro 5,1 video card. My question is, is there a clear preference in respect of performance for Finale v26 – any known issues with either OS? Thanks for any reassurance.

... and you lost the duplicate stave! Did I miss something obvious? Maybe I can apply what you did to the complete file to tidy it up.
The trumpet played down an octave straight off but that's nothing new and not hugely important. Can always be tweaked, if required.

Actually, you might be onto something there as I used a template from a much older piece when I started this commission (my use of Finale goes way back to the 90's). Sorry to pick up on a rather old thread but I was wondering whether this issue was ever resolved. I've just had a similar instance of a stave becoming duplicated and any attempt to delete it also deletes the original.

Thanks for your reply. I've now bought Quickeys and it works like a charm. Strangely, someone also mention that shift+delete should act as a Clear key. Whilst it doesn't appear to on my Macbook Air it does on the MacPro. I therefore suspect that this could be a clash on the Macbook and possibly wort...

Just wondering whether anyone here has experience of using Finale on the new Macbook Air. There's no Clear Key and I can't see any obvious key combination for one. I use this all the time within Speedy Entry and really miss it!
