Addendum... My tempo speed is now back in grey. Don't know what caused it to go back. It is now at the right tempo though.

Well, when I opened your file.... the tempo was normal, and I could change tempo. I then opened my 'real' score, and it was working correctly too.

I am a Mac OS X user, since way back, 1989 or so. One function which I think would be wonderful is to have presets for the Edit Filter window. Meaning, you should have 4 or 5 options which could be programmed according to a user's needs, i.e. 1) copy all 2) copy markings only 3) copy chord symbols, ...

I am in Mac OS X I tried creating a new file with doc without libraries... same thing My settings in playback control, are usually 'none' - under "Human Playback Style", although when I switch to 'standard' or 'baroque' it doesn't change either. This is before I push play. Simply when I open up Playback Controls, the Tempo number is grayed out.

I am in Finale 2012. Whenever I go to use Playback Controls, the Tempo box (quarter note = 72) is in gray, and I can't change the number. This has been the case through several versions of Finale, and also all of the various templates I use. Can someone help with this?

There should be a quicker way to change what needs to be copied, rather than go to the Edit Filter each time. There should be 4-5 presets, (1- all info, 2 - articulations only, 3 - chords only, etc. This would speed up things tremendously.

When using Voice 2 (with another note in voice 1), you cannot tie a note to the next ms. (the tie goes backwards) This has been the case for years and years. This should be a simple fix. And no, don't tell me to use Layer 2. This needs to work when you have just a partial measure of Voice 2 notes.

I use an MAudio midi keyboard, using speedy note entry. Regularly, the audio of the keyboard disappears, although the notes still enter normally, you can't hear them. This happens with other keyboards as well.
