SMuFL conversion: Maestro to Finale Maestro

I am having difficulty converting a number of my existing files from the legacy Maestro font to Finale Maestro (SMuFL). It does not appear to be correctly re-mapping the fonts and I get all sorts of weird characters. Methods I've tried: 1) Documents -> Set Default Music Font -> Finale Maestro 2) Doc...

Re: Measure number regions problem

Ah, OK - got it. Weird. Thanks for your help!

I'd say it IS a bug, though, yes?

Re: Measure number regions problem

The issue I'm reporting is not with the numbers *after* region 3, it's the numbers *in* region 2. I've created an even simpler/shorter version (attached). Region 1 is the first two measures. Region 2 is four measures long. Region 3 is 2 measures long. As I think you'll see, in Scroll View and in Stu...

Re: Measure number regions problem

I'm not sure if the problem I am experiencing is the same as the previous posters, but what I am seeing is definitely a bug. See the attached Finale 25 file I created. I made three measure number regions, which cover mm. 1-54, 55-146 (displayed as 1-92), and 147-200 (displayed as 1-54). If you look ...

Re: ETF files

It appears that the Finale 2012a install corrected the problem - ETF files can now be opened in 2012. What a relief! Mike Two ideas: 1) The company Recordare had a file translation service that could translate ETF files into MusicXML or Finale .MUS files. Since MakeMusic has just bought Recordare, i...

Re: ETF files

I, too, could not open the ETF files in Finale 2012. However, the ETF files opened fine in Finale 2011, as you can see in the attached files. You should contact MakeMusic's Tech Support about this. I suspect that you have found a bug in Finale 2012. I've just been on the phone with Tech Support. Un...

Re: ETF files

Yes, via File menu > Open File->Open does not work for me (using Finale 2012). When I go to open the file, I get a message that says: "invalid file type..." It's REALLY important that I be able to open ETF file. Hundreds and hundreds of Choral Public Domain Library (cpdl.org) files were saved in ET...

Re: ETF files

Can ETF files be opened in Finale 2012? If so, how?
