Re: Quasi-Newbie Help with Note Selection Please

Thanks. Made a note of it and will use it.

I'm very lucky to be on so many forums where everyone is helpful to others. I do feel embarrassed that I didn't know the most simple and important (to me) feature. I guess that's what I get for being a trumpet player.

Re: Quasi-Newbie Help with Note Selection Please

Selection tool>double click on the note. Well, that worked, so thanks very much. I thought that's what I was doing, but apparently even though it looks like the Selection tool looks like it's been picked, I've learned that you have to click on it with the mouse before double clicking on the note. I...

Quasi-Newbie Help with Note Selection Please

Hi. Well, I guess I'm a newbie I had Sibelius for years, but my version finally got obsolete. I've been inputting, using midi files, and scanning in notation for some time. I thought that I could just control click and select a note. That doesn't work so I've just been picking the same note value in...

Re: Way Too Many CC7's

I found a way to get around this pesky problem. At least, using Band In A Box. There's a box you can uncheck when importing a midi file. It's the pitch bend and other controllers box in the popup window.

Way Too Many CC7's

I like to save most of my files to midi and import them into Band In A Box or Real Band. After I get the song mixed I like to turn the melody ( the midi file from PrintMusic) way down. I would enter a CC7 volume decrease change, but the track would get louder again. When I looked in the Events List ...

Thanks. I did a search so didn't need to post a question. Yes, it does work with PrintMusic.

Re: No Stop or Pause with Playback + midi instr. ?

Tnanks so much for your response. Not sure why the stop or pause button on the player toolbar does not work. I discovered that I can just click the screen and stop the playback so that's okay to do. Sorry, I'm still learning the pgm and it's different than what I was working with in the past. I spen...

No Stop or Pause with Playback + midi instr. ?

I'm a many years past Sibelius user and have switched to PrintMusic 2012. I using an external synth, Ketron SD2, with an Edirol ua-4fx sound module. When I playback part of a given staff, the playback works fine but won't pause or stop. It always continues to the end of the song, playing all of the ...
