Good stuff. With the shortcuts, particularly the macros, I'm all set.

I mean 'Midi Tool' only appears in the menu bar as a drop down after you click on the midi tool icon. Is there any way to lock it there in the menu permanently?

On Windows, select a tool and press shift+any of the keys f2 to f12 to program a shortcut to the selected tool. Then just press the assigned f key. I would like to paste some notes non-destructively. For example, copy notes or percussion from one bar and put them over the top of the notes/percussion in another bar without destroying the notes already there, which is what the normal paste does. How can I do this?
