Yeah, the Finale trials are ok, but it's not of the kind I'm talking about.
I'll give it a try on Youtube, but I,m not sure they are build in a progressive approach. They seem more random.

Any Video tutorials?
Does any one know of any video tutorials for Finale?
The only one I know is on lynda.com, but you can't download it. You have to pay every month.
Any other? Thanks

Re: Can we change notes from bass to treble clef?
You mean we can better mass edit in Finale vs PM? Because that's what I like when using Logic to record and edit (before going into PM). I never touch a single note. Just mass edit. I 1-record on keys, 2-quantize, quantize notes to pedal length, quantize durations, 3-split hands by midi channel, 4-f...

Re: Can we change notes from bass to treble clef?
You understand correctly.
What I do now is that I record my music in my DAW, edit/
seperate both hands on two diferent tracks and export it as MIDI file for PM. That's the best way to use Finale I find.

Can we change notes from bass to treble clef?
Hi,
I recorded my piano part in Hyperscribe, but I would like to change some notes from the bass to the treble clef.
Is there a way to do that? By default, all the notes were split at 60 (middle C).

Re: Copy/Merge
Oh geesh, I see! I was trying to copy a layer 2 line over a layer 1 line when showing all layers. I didn't understand why a layer 2 could "replace" a Layer 1 but I guess showing layers is really a flatten version of a song and not just a graphic display. I don't think there's an "Implode Music" feat...

Hi, I imported a MIDI file in PrintMusic that I recorded in Logic Studio. The piece is Bach's famous Prelude #1 in C major. I put the treble clef melody on MIDI channel 1, the bass note on channel 2 and the middle voice in bass clef on channel 3. So when import it, the 3 voices are on three differen...
