Finale and Protools clash
Hi, Sometimes I need to have my DAW open (PT10) so that I can play and transcribe into Finale simultaneously, and when I do this, a very low frequency comes and gets louder and louder (like a jet plane engine). When this happens, any note that I input into Finale gets doubled with a very low note as...

Re: Articulations vertical spacing (very high)
Thank you Peter. I t can't be the articulation definition since it's only intermittent and usually doesn't happen. I've checked and the definition looks right. I will attach screen shots. I do have swing.fan in the Font Annotation folder as well. It seems like some kind of a glitch, I tried attachin...

Articulations vertical spacing (very high)
Hi, I'm using Finale 2014 and Swing Font, and sometimes the articulations jump way higher than the actual notes, I can manually move them back down but they go right back as soon as I save the file. Any ideas?? I've attached a picture, thanks in advance

Chord Spacing
Is there a function for chord spacing (like music spacing) so that bars space out automatically in order to avoid chords clashing (pic attached). Thanks in advance.

Re: Quarter Tones in key signature
Thanks for your reply. I don't care about the playback, it's mainly for the layout. Thanks in advance

Quarter Tones in key signature
Is there any way to mark quarter tones in the key signature (just like flats and sharps)? Also, do quarter tone accidentals exist in Finale? Thanks in advance

Re: How can I edit/change a chord suffix in Jazz
Thanks so much for your help. I undertand how to change the font now. So is it not possible to change the M in the chord suffix editor to "min"? Also, let me ask you something else since you're expert! When I use the chord midi input to play the chords, everytime I play a minor 6 chord, finale write...

How can I edit/change a chord suffix in Jazz
When I play the chords (in Jazz font), it automatically writes minor chords with an "m". Since the small m looks like a capital M in jazz, it can look a little confusing. My question is, can I change that and make it "min" so that all the minor chords will have the min suffix attached to them? Thanks

Normal and rhythm notation in same bar
How can I have normal and rhythm notation in the same bar (i.e. if I have 2 layers, one will show the rhythm section and one will show the melody on top). Thanks
