Can Finale Print Music take a simple instrumental sample from a wav or mp3 and create sheet music from it?

Is it possble to change the colour of notes on an individual basis?

Thanks so much for all your help everyone. Although I did not know the correct answer, I feel somewhat vindicated in that as a beginner at least I know the score was not written correctly. Too bad I won't be able to enter it. I'll have tomplay it in Eb minor as written. It might be a bit too advance...

Okay here is the scan. If you look at the 6th measure you will see the treble section has an Eb half note with a dot, then a quarter rest, then 4 sixteenth notes then a quarter note. That adds up to 6 quarters and its written in 5/4 time. The bass staff goes in perfectly. I have no idea what to do w...

This is only my second post but I actually had the same issue and found a workround. Just change the clef for the next measure and enter the notes you would need. Then use the copy function and paste them into the previous measure. It will add the appropriate clef midmeasure automatically It works- ...

I guess Im not explaining this very well I cant post the problem area because the software wont let me put all the notes in Best i can describe is treble staff with the following in 1 measure: Half note with a dot/quarter rest/4 16th notes/quarter note That is too many notes for 5/4 time but they ar...

I cant post the file cause i am still trying to enter it.
I suspect that the layers is the answer but even if I break it up into upper and lower lines the upper measure still has a quarter note too many.
