Can you open a Finale NotePad doc in Finale 27? Or export as xml and import into Finale? Bypass the wizard; just Document>Set Default Music Font to the music font you choose. That's what I would try anyway.

The original complaint was that in opening an old file, expressions had disappeared. The misunderstanding about copy and paste was in response to a possible solution, not the original problem. If loading the library fixed everything, why are you now trying to do the copy-and-paste solution, Billy? ...

Besides, no matter, simply loading the default.lib fixes it instantly. It depends what you mean by "fix". If there were expressions entered in the music of the original file and now are missing, loading a library will not get them back. They must be re-entered one by one. That's a serious bug in my...

The main trouble is, no markings work when I apply something from articulations. Attached is the 2012 original file.
