Trying to upload examples of different underlining display in 26 and 27.3, this time with JPEGs.

Trying to attach TIFs of the same 26-originated Text Box viewed in 26 and 27.3 to illustrate the problem in point (3) above. I seem to be able to upload them, but they are not displaying for some reason.

Happy to report that a reinstall did the trick! Incidentally, the instructions from Make Music for uninstalling further up the thread are labyrinthine and unnecessary. Simply go into Control Panel, Programs -> Uninstall, right click on Finale, and bingo. Very simple. No need to empty the Recycle Bin...

That seems to have fixed it. Many thanks! Now to find out why Show wasn't checked like all the other chords — presumably something to do with the absence of notation in the r.h. on that beat.

Another peculiarity of Finale 25 is that if you have a hidden note with an accidental in another layer on the same beat as a normal note with an accidental, Finale shifts the normal accidental back, as if the hidden accidental were visible. Just to report back that using Finale 25 solved the problem. Did not try 2014.5. I suspect that 2014d cannot handle pages at such a large resolution (the resultant files in Finale 25 are nearly all well over 1MB).
