I have Finale 2014 and have added specific mutes to various trumpet lines in the score. They don't play during playback - they remain the same as before assigning the muting. I've tried various mutes and various JABB settings but no luck. Please help.

Thanks. It seems to happen more when entering the chords via a controller keyboard rather than the entry by "Letter:number". It happens after asking if you make a mistake and have to remove the chord or you enter the wrong "Letter:number"' grouping every time. I have been adding chords for the last ...

Finale has begun to freeze up and then crash while using the chord tool. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a fix other than rebooting the app?

I'll give .pdfforge a try and let you know. Do you know if Finale is working on a fix for this? I was able to find a pdf edit program but the print out contained a watermark and the only way to remove it was to buy the program - fairly steep price... :( Thanks again for all your help. Just tried PDF Creator and was unable to use the edit features without purchasing that module then was unable to receive the activation key. The tried CutePDF and was unable to download with purchasing. I'll keep trying different apps but I wish there was a reason for this problem. It's always a 3 s...

I haven't tried them yet. Which of the two would you recommend to be able to possible delete this number "3"? I found that when I exported the score it produced the same "3" on various pages also. Thanks again for your help!
