Re: Problems entering notes with MIDI keyboard
Hello Blackrosegul Now, normally I use the Speedy Entry Tool (Nomal and Caps Lock mode). I only use the Simple Entry Tool with the "Repitch tool". As I have used the Simple Entry Tool for years, now I have to change "litle by litle". In addition I would like to learn something about how to write a p...

Re: How to make a melody sounds lifelike?
Hello WolfPeter Now I'm trying to learn how to use the TempoTap with the HyperScribe tool. It's possible to "record" your tempo playing the pulses in the keyboard. In addition there is a figure with the changes in tempo, but I don't know if this figure can be changed using the mouse or the keyboard....

MIDI Keyboard's buttons
Hello
I have a Cakewalk A-500Pro Midi keyboard and I use it with Finale but "only" the keyboard itself. There are many buttons and knobs. Is it possible to use them with Finale?
Like example, there are some buttons for Play, Stop, Pause... It would be nice to use them
Thank you in advance
Iker

Re: Problems entering notes with MIDI keyboard
Thank you very much Peter Yes, I know the CapsLock mode. I have used with the Simple Entry mode for several months. But now I have to start with the Speedy Entry Mode. At the beggining it will be a bit crazy but I think that it is much more interesting to work with it. Provably I am going to transcr...

Re: Problems entering notes with MIDI keyboard
Hello Peter, The item "Use MIDI Device for Input” is selected but if I type 5 in the keypad I only obtain the rest of the quarter note. Is that normal? With the Simple Entry if I have a lot of quarter notes I only have to type 5 the first time and play in the MIDI keyboard. I have done a prove and l...

Re: Problems entering notes with MIDI keyboard
Thanks
I have used Simple Entry. I have to learn the Speedy Entry. I know that it is very similar but when I tried it I only wrote rests.
Best regards
Iker

Problems entering notes with MIDI keyboard
Hello Last weeks I have noticed something strange when I am using the MIDI keyboard. When I use the mouse to introduce notes (Simple Entry) if the next note is longer than the "free space" I listen a noise and the note is not introduced. But with the keyboard the note is "divided" in between the pre...
