I installed the upgrade and now there is only a bunch of squares instead of note heads, clefs--anything that is supposed to look like music.

Well, glad it works for you! But that doesn’t solve my problem, unfortunately.

When I evoke Mixer and click on Inst. List, nothing happens. I think it is greyed out. It appears as a grey button with white lettering. Also, when I click on the red buttons at the bottom showing the instrument for each staff, nothing happens. To change instruments, I have to do it in Score Manager...

Oh! Thanks. Didn't know that the Measure Number Bar reflected the region and other settings in the Measure Tool. Couldn't find that in the manual.

In scroll view, can the Measure Number Bar be configured to show different numbers? It counts pickup measures as measure "1". Also, if I add click track intro measures, that throws off the numbering as well. Would like to have it start counting from a certain measure.

I'm switching to various second monitors between home and work and maybe that has something to do with it, but suddenly my toolbar icons are so small. Also, on the Setup Wizard, the choices in the second window of Select a document style are scrunched together with like negative spacing between them...

bw00ds, We need more info. It is not clear what layout you are trying to create. If I understand you correctly, you need to omit the staff’s barlines in one specific system only (not in all systems in the entire document) - right? Does your document display barlines between the staves? - or only on...

Can barlines be omitted from one stave of a system while keeping them in another stave of the same system?

That's definitely a way to do it. A lot more work than I just did, I think. Not interested at this point in redoing the lyrics. The attached document has everything in place now as far as the numbering. Sorry, I should have mentioned that and sorry to have put you through this much trouble.

The numbers are lyrics. All of them.
