Is there some way to import a music score PDF into any of the newer versions of Finale? I'm trying to find some work around. I can import into Sibelius (very old version) using their facility to create an .xml file, which usually requires a good bit of editing, but I was hoping that someone on this ...

I was just trying to build a better mouse trap.
But yes, I can copy all the tempo marks to a duplicate 'Tempo Mark 2' category, unfix the font, and create a separate score list.

The preferred method of tempo marking is about 14 pt. Roman fixed. In large scores the tempo marks would show above the score and somewhere within, usually above Vln. 1. When all else fails. . . . reinstall the software.
I did, and it even remembered the locations of my detached tool windows.

The solution is to open two windows, one in score view, the other in part view. Drag or copy from Score view to the Tab staff in Part view!
