adding instruments shortens visible score

I have a piece I'm working on that is 80 measures long. I've got: Drums, percussion, 2 guitars, and bass guitar. When I go to add an electric guitar (or any other instrument), the score mysteriously shortens down to 25 measures (sometimes only 18!). It plays through to the end, but the score doesn't...

Thank you. That did it! It only makes sense, of course. Humans tend to mess up everything anyway....
However, I can see the value of the "human playback" settings. They just don't apply to this particular situation.

Hello. I have created a score with a simple bass line in Finale. I then export as a WAV file and open in Audacity. Hello. I am using Finale PrintMusic on a Dell XPS laptop Windows 10 High res screen. My problem is : When entering percussion, the indications (woodblock, hi-hat, ride cymbal, etc) "smear" across the top of the staff, rendering them unreadable. Gibberish. Very frustrating.
