It works for me the same way, I can tie Four 16th notes together and get the recording to sound correct. However, I want to export this file to Smart Music for student evaluations while having the correct instrument sound accompanying the student. So it needs to look and sound the same. I will check...

Finale - 2014.5 ...... Mac Every trill I place begins too early! The measure pictured below trills the third 16th, then the fourth 16th before trilling the half note. I have made sure the trill handle is placed at the beginning of the half note. I just want the half note to trill. Can anyone help??
