Re: Backup in Finale 27

Are you sure it is a Finale file? What if you rename it jose.musx. Try that.
The name itself isn't important to a degree but the file extension is and it must be a file made by Finale.

Re: Accessability for sight impaired user

Right click on the desktop.
In the Display Setting drop down type "high contrast" in the search field. Select "Dessert" and see if that helps.

Re: Backup in Finale 27

Jose,
On your desk top, no other program running or open, type File Explorer in the search field at the bottom of your screen. This will open where you need to be. Don't use Finale and or certainly not chrome to do this.

Re: v27 Problem #44: ARIA 1.9.6.7 Wait Till You Hear This One!

You are receiving that error message because the file you are opening used a different Aria Engine version than what you currently have installed on your computer. If you go to MIDI/Audio > Reassign Playback Sounds, the playback should work just fine. The Aria Engine is used for other libraries othe...

Re: v27 Problem #42 I Think: Aria Player Error

Billy it (Finale 27) will work and it will work well. Plus you don't have to do special tasks 54 times. If I may suggest, do you have a computer savvy person that could come by and make sure the installation is done correctly?

Brent,
I don't know if you use plug-ins and scripts but there is a RPG Lus script that puts most all page settings on one place. Page Format Wizard.

Re: Copying multiple measures with many clef changes

Before you copy, make sure you have selected "Copy Clefs: Always" in the Edit Filter
No before you do anything make a "Save as" new file. Don't mess with the original.

Another thought you can do whatever to this save as file. Just select and delete what you don't want.

At this point I would suggest if you know a friend that is a computer guru or you have a store like Mic...

...Lower than that I wouldn't write for a Big Band section.
Wow, jazz charts routinely have a trumpet part with two ledger line A, B above it and middle C. At least all the ones I have seen or played.

Re: Auto save

I don't do extremely long charts. A 100 to 150 measures of concert band just about gets it but I still save often and I do Save As with an extension like underscore A or _B, _C. I have three 2 terabyte external HD's for my backups. I don't like the "cloud" or Dropbox, personally. If I ever would use...

You won't get an upgrade deal from a "copy that's not yours", so to speak.
I agree. Your "friend' will have to ask for the upgrade and he/she will have to have the original serial number. And that serial number must be assigned to that person could be through an email name, address, etc.

I would send you a link to my latest piece which has a cornet solo in it but it isn'...
