Re: Trill with flat, sharp, natural from Custom Line Tool not working on Finale 27?
The problem is the new font paradigm. It seems they forgot to consider how Human Playback works. It seems that the Beta testers missed the mark, or maybe MakeMusic didn't care. It seems getting the proper "look" was more important then playback. Human Playback has playback linked to a certain font s...

With Measure Attributes, you can select "Show Full Staff and Group Names" in that measure.

I think there is a KB article about a bug moving items in the Mac version. This might be one of the items affected.

Re: Can you split measures and create multimeasure rests across these measures?
The measures are not really 7/4. They are either 3/4 or 4/4, to appear as 7/4. It appears you used the plugin. That is how the plugin does it. If we could see the Finale file, then we could check all that. In measure attributes, you can see if the option to break MM rests is ticked. If you untick th...

Re: Manually adjusting VERTICAL placement of individual rests
You might experiment with the JW Change plugin regarding placement of rests. It seems the default centered on staff allows movement when transposed. Other settings seem to allow them to remain in place.

Re: Manually adjusting VERTICAL placement of individual rests
Moving rests when changing key has plagued me for years. I am not aware of an automatic method of having them be left untouched. Would be nice to know.

Re: Playback Tempo too slow
My sample rate is (was) 41,000. Then, in Windows Updates, the Realtek drivers updated about a week ago. Guess what? It changed the sample rate to 48,000. I anticipated that, and immediately changed it back to 41,000. I'm not saying that's your problem, but something to check.

Re: Big dot, little doc
I think if it would be double stops, there would have been an indication. Possibly a bracket at the beginning of the double notes. And, I don't think they would have been smaller on the bottom.

If the picture showed where the doubled notes start, we might have a clearer idea about what the score indicates.

Re: Can you split measures and create multimeasure rests across these measures?
Are the measures 7/4 with an expression for the dotted false barline, or alternating 3/4 and 4/4 (or the reverse)? If the former, make sure the expression is not set to break MM rests. If alternating meter, then MM rests can't be made. If you have 4/4 to show as 7/4, then 3/4 to show as 7/4, I think...

Blank pages are for text and imported graphics only. Music will skip over the blank page and flow onto the following page.

Re: Split page first page into two pages
If you add a Page break to System 7, then a page break to System 4, that should work. Again, I'm just trying this on a default piano document. If you do that, then there's no need to insert systems, unless I am missing something.

Since we can't see what you have we're stabbing in the dark. When inserting a system, did you uncheck the option to Space Systems in the dialogue box?

The page margin settings determine that method of alternating. You can make them all the same instead in the Page Layout Tool.

Re: Wrong playback on articulation
It doesn't work that way. Those slots are fixed in the font. If you have the knowledge and permission to edit a font, then give it a go. Those who know how to do that can advise you here. Otherwise, look at my demo. In the first set of articulations, 4 misbehaves. In the second set, it doesn't. That...

Add the missing syllable, or edit the syllable with the hyphen to remove the hyphen. If that adds a word extension, just delete that.

Just like we said. It helps during a long period of rest to know what's going on to help in knowing when to play.

Re: Split page first page in two pages
Some formatting can't stay the same, obviously. Text blocks that are page assigned will stay on the page of their assignment. They can be changed to another page in the attributes window. Or, change them to measure assigned to go with the system being moved. Without seeing what you have, it is impos...

Re: Confuse with notation
Either if 2 things:
1)After a long rest, it helps give you a cue to hear that gets you ready to start playing again.
2) Sometimes a player needs to cover the music for an instrument (player) in the ensemble that might be missing.
