Re: Page offset for Score but not parts
Is it possible to hide page numbers in all parts by once? I can combine them with CutePDF, and add pagination.

Dear Peter, yes that is what I am talking about.
I didn't know it is the only way to do offset differently in the parts. I will proceed with your suggestions. Many thanks!

Thank you.
Okay, a simple question, I don't know how to begin?
If anyone has already something that works with Finale I could use and tweak.

Re: Finale (v25) and fonts behind 255?
Thanks Wessmusic! This is perhaps one of the most important answers on Finale's fonts here. I will print it and save it! Avoiding SMuFL is another story and I will explain "Why", specially here, in Finale forum. E000-FF00 is enormously large space for storing symbols etc. But there is no easy way to...

Re: Finale (v25) and fonts behind 255?
i have done some tests.
If I don't have the font name in Macsymbolfonts.txt my font looks weird but I can see the all symbols, but if I add it it looks good but I cannot reach behind 255. What I am doing wrong?

Finale (v25) and fonts behind 255?
Hello.
I try to edit a font and to add several symbols that I frequently use, but when I open it in Finale I cannot see anything behind 255 slot. How to achieve this?
(q. also here: https://notat.io/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=696 )

Re: Manual positioning of grace notes
No, actually, nothing helps. It seems to be so for all grace notes. Rewriting in a normal notation than resizing is to awkward, too many notes.
Any manual position is undo-ed by execution of the note spacing. This is not the same with normal notes, they remain at the place.

Manual positioning of grace notes
Hello.
I have an issue that I can't solve. In a piece I have numerous grace notes, and somehow they are not well positioned. I try to edit them by note mover tools but every time I respace, they come back to the original position.

Hi all, In a choir score, the soprani start in unison (on one stave), then at bar three they divide into two staves. Everything is under one slur... Re: Ties between non-adjacent notes
You can add a slur that is beat attached, not note attached (default). Works equally well as a tie.mark carlson wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 9:19 pm
Slurs don't work well because they attach to the whole chord, not the specific note within the chord; though you can move them and manipulate their shape,

In Finale you can offset your custom shape (position), so that it does the job automatically without further editing.Hector Pascal wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 6:49 am

Hello. Is it possible to swap one symbol in the document with another symbol? My copyist has done "hiding noteheads" with changing the notehead symbol into symbol at 204. Custom beat duration ( 3/♪. )
Friends,
Is it possible to use a custom beat duration in the Time Signature? So instead to write 9/16 measure, I would need to have it as 3/♪. time signature.
I have tried to figure out this in TS settings but avail.
Thank you.
