Are you using 'edit filter'? You can select what copies and what doesn't. This is not filtering. Dynamics get duplicated. Every time I copy paste it adds one more item. So when I open Expression window, there are tens of same dynamic symbol. I noticed the same thing but wasn't sure what caused it. ...

Turn off the feature to show out of range notes. That's designed for users with little knowledge of the instruments. As far as playback, if the sample doesn't play the note, that is another issue. I've created several Finale Scripts which I used successfully on my score, but when I go to "Edit part", and try to use my scripts,the scripts are not available. They are all grayed out. Am I missing something?
