I've had tunes that needed Swing on some staves but not on others.
I assume the Parts will say Swing Feel,
how else would the players know?

I always use the Expression Tool, and set Tempo with Number of Beats per minute.
Always works.

Try setting System Prefs/ Sound to same as what Finale uses. Also, long shot here, look in System Prefs/Security. Look at Microphone settings. If Finale is Checked, uncheck it. Or vice-versa. The time I tried it, I had to do only a few bars at a time, otherwise there were problems, similar to yours.
Try 4 bars at at time, some editing will probably be needed anyway.

I would prefer to see it as C Circle Triangle,
totally doable in the Suffix Editor.

The B replaces the A, in 4 parts, in Jazz harmony.

I haven't had a single Inst go out of tune, but I've had number of Finale Files go crazily, bizarrely out of tune altogether. Time was the Gliss Smart Shape would set it off. Go to Privacy in System Prefs ( on a Mac ).
There's a prompt to allow Microphone, check it.
My copy of Reaper wouldn't pass the Mic signal unless that was checked,
should work for you on Finale.

Look in Show All, they will likely be there!

If I get Catalina, 10.15.7, will I also need to get Finale 26, or will F 25 still work?

I use F 25/Mac/Standard HP, and it absolutely does Ritards.
Sometimes I use extra Ritard Expressions to customise the rate of Rit over several meas.
But it definitely works for me.

I cleared Midi and Tempo Marks from bar 2 to the end, made no difference,
so I added another Tempo Mark to bar 2.
Having the Flat 9th on beat one with an F9/13 Chord,
and having a Major 3rd one beat one with a Minor 7th Chord
seem to me to be odd choices.

Some would call that a Public Service...!

It's played by the LA Clarinet Society, and it's a fantastic piece!

So, a guy passes out a new arrangement at a big band rehearsal.
He said, "Let's run through it, the first time just for the Notes.
Then we'll add the Sharps and Flats later...!"

I use the Page Layout Tool/Space Systems Evenly.
Then Select Page 1 ( in this case ) only, and allow 8 Staves per page.
Then I run Space Systems Evenly, Do Not Change the Number of Staves.
That will space it according to the margins Selected.
Takes a few seconds, works great!

It's Eb Major 7, not Eb7!
