Re: playback output to headphones
I also had this problem and I found that using Airfoil will allow streaming Finale audio to both my AirPlay speakers and Bluetooth earbuds. So, this may be a possible solution at least for Finale users who have Macs.

Re: Instrument change transposition problem
Circled below is the setting that is transposing incorrectly (octave too low), and when I delete the last measure in the original attached file this problem disappears entirely.

Instrument change transposition problem
Hello, I have a problem with the attached file which is for four trombones. I want to change the first trombone into a horn part. When I change the instrument in the score manager, the transposition goes down instead of up and is therefore one octave too low. In addition, if I even try to just chang...

Re: Hold off on Catalina?
For Finale v25.5 there appear to be at least two Finale-related applications which presumably will no longer run under Catalina as they are not 64-bit:
/Library/Application Support/Plogue/Aria/AriaReporter.app
/Applications/Garritan ARIA Player/Generate logs.app

Re: Clarinet transposition unexpected behavior
I had hopes but my Out-of-range-notes was set to advanced, I tried to turn it to "off" and it still jumped up an octave.
No worries, nothing that can't be worked around.

Re: Clarinet transposition unexpected behavior
My Finale skills are very rusty and anything is possible but there is definitely a different selection for bass clarinet which shows the M9 transposition interval. I had this occur only when changing the instrument to clarinet in Bb, but it is behaving differently for the two clarinets which is also...

Clarinet transposition unexpected behavior
Hello, I had a problem when I was changing two clarinet parts from A to Bb transposition. Mac F25.4. The original score I was working on had them in A due to the key of E concert. After seeing this problem I tried creating a new document with the wizard for just the two clarinets: Both clarinets in ...

Re: Reducing time required for simple entry of dotted notes
Hello, yes I am usually doing this mouse-only. I could always resort to the modifier keys and that is what they are for I guess.
I would give a lot for a selection that would allow cancelling the dot if you changed the note value, or changed to a rest.
Thanks for your input.

Reducing time required for simple entry of dotted notes
Regarding simple entry of dotted notes, if there any way to have the dot be cancelled when changing base note values while in simple entry. Or, when changing from notes to rests. For example, when entering dotted quarter and then eighth notes repetitively, it is a lot more time consuming to have to ...
