Help with capo chords please
Hello I have a score with guitar chords and fretboards that I want to transpose half step up.(C to C#). Since there are some uncommon chords I'd like to use a capo on first fret, keeping the same fingering for all chords, rising just the chord symbol of a semitone. For example I want to rise a C to ...

copying between layers
Hi, how do I copy the content of one layer into another layer?
The option "Hide layers when inactive" doesn't seems to make difference.
Thanks

By avoiding the tie you can follow the (quite pleasant) principle of {1 sounding tone <=> 1 written note}

I'm asking because I want to copy in Finale some easy piano pieces I'm learning. I'm not even sure why this is done in the first place (I have no formal musi...

Re: midi files exported from Finale play at very low volume
Anyone can help? I'll try to explain the issue better. When a midi file produced in Finale is imported into Cubase 5 it appears as an Aria player instance. Then I move this midi file into a newly created track which feed Kontakt 5 with whatever library, in this case LASS (LA Scoring Strings) This is...

midi files exported from Finale play at very low volume
Hello I produce music with Cubase 5 and various Kontakt libraries. I just discovered how nice is to export midi files directly from Finale and load them into Cubase to take advantage of the Human Playback features. However I have a problem: when a Finale midi file is imported it plays at extremely l...

Create double slash symbol
Hello
Is there a way to apply a double slash symbol to the staff indicating repeated groups of semiquavers, like the one in the pic?
I can't locate it under Staff Styles or anywhere else.
Thanks in advance

Re: Suggestions to keep pages at minimum?
I suppose that you already are aware of the settings that affect grace note spacing. what I know is that grace notes do not affect the bar metric. It's not a problem of space, I don't get how a reader is going to understand where exactly grace notes must be played Immagine.jpg the second time I wan...

Two bar repeats and colors questions
Hello, I'm here with another set of stupid questions. The Two bar repeat symbol means the previous two bars are repetead, not the previous bar is repeated two times, right? When a part made of different layers is exported to pdf, one of the layer is light blue. How to avoid this (without unchecking ...
