Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm not sure I communicated my issue clearly. In previous versions of Finale for Windows, I was able to copy text from a Word file and paste in to the lyrics window. Also was able to cut, copy and/or paste lyrics in the lyrics window. With the upgrade to Version 27...

I don't use Finale on a regular basis and have recently upgraded to Version 27, Windows.
I'm noticing that I cannot "cut and paste" lyrics in the lyrics window as I have done in previous versions.
Is this a bug or has Finale been changed in some way to inactivate this feature?

Simple Entry with Ctrl-Click did the trick!

I'm working in Finale 25/Windows version. In a few measures where I am working in 2 layers (Soprano/Alto), both parts have a quarter rest on beat one of the measure. The quarter rest in Layer 2 (alto), is "hidden" and the quarter rest in Layer 1 (Soprano) is visible, but is positioned too high above...
