I don’t know how to get to the expression designer. I can find tools > expression and the click the arrow on the top of the top staff and then select tempo marks from the menu. It doesn’t do number of beats.

I just do’t know how to get the screen you printed.

I would like to set a Tempo Change in Beats Per Minute in the Score by seeing something written above the highest staff to set the beats per minute. Can this be done?

Perhaps it is because I have a Mac, but the control-key method isn't working.

When I click-click on a note, it goes to the delete icon.

I haven't be able to make it work.

I just found a curious method. I use the tie icon and it allows me to pull the note up or down, usually leaving a tie that is not tied to a next note. Then I can go through and delete all of the ties.

Is there a better method?

I am familiar with the option to change the pitch of a note by using the cursor pointer and pulling a note up or down.
