Re: (Help!) How to change time signature to lengthen all not
Go to Utilities > Change > Note Durations and set 200%–check Rebar Music. Change the Time Signature to 4/4, also with Rebar. Did you knowingly enter 64th notes, or was this a MIDI file you opened in Finale? If a MIDI file, play it back to make sure all those notes aren't just a bunch of erroneous h...

Re: (Help!) How to change time signature to lengthen all not
Jari's JW Meter and Rhythm plugin can do this in one click. Zuill Zuill, thank you very much for this piece of advice - it worked flawlessly! (I had to find a 64-bit version of this plugin because the first version of it, which I downloaded not caring much about the bits, turned out to be invisible...

(Help!) How to change time signature to lengthen all notes
Hi there,
I have a piece in 2/4 with a lot of 32nd and 64th notes and rests, which are pretty hard to read. How can I get it transformed into a 4/4 piece with the doubled duration of all the notes?
Thanks for your advice and comments.

Re: Audio/MIDI issues: Steinberg UR22mkII card with Finale 2
Solution: Try going to MIDI/Audio / Device Setup / Reset ReWire.

Bill, thanks! It worked out perfectly for me.Bill Reed wrote:If you've opened any application that suports ReWire, Finale will have switched to ReWire mode. Try going to MIDI/Audio / Device Setup / Reset ReWire.

Re: Kontakt 5.6.5 (audio unit)
Hi, My Kontakt 5.6.8 won't produce any sound in Finale either. Moreover, 'Audio Setup' in Finale has become inactive. The thing is I've just traded my old card for Steinberg UR22mkII and upgraded to Win 10, so it might be either a HW or SW bug. NB. Creative Audigy worked fine with this version of Ko...

Audio/MIDI issues: Steinberg UR22mkII card with Finale 25.3
Hi there, I've just installed my Steinberg UR22mkII card with Finale 25.3. 'Audio Setup' is totally inactive. Although Kontakt 5 plugins are accessible and visible, there is no playback when they are chosen in Score manager or via 'VST Banks and Effects' menu. My MIDI keyboard becomes inaudible as w...

Exporting 'purged' MIDI file - MIDI data persists
Hi, I can't figure out how to get rid of all the initial MIDI data of a file like velocity, note duration, etc. The file was recorded with my Yamaha synth and then imported into Finale. In 'Document' -> 'Playback/Recording options' I have unchecked all the boxes ('Play recorded ...'). Then I have se...
