Re: Why do (seemingly) random commands make my measures comp
Thanks for the tip, I will try this. When I attempted to do the "lock a specific number of measures", it always messed with the measure widths on my first line only for some reason. I haven't been using the program enough to know how to quickly adjust measure widths so I stopped using that because i...

Why do (seemingly) random commands make my measures compress
I just got Finale and have been left pretty confused by some things I've seen it do so far. One thing that's consistently happening is that certain commands which are unrelated to measure length are having a major impact on the actual size of my measures. If I load a new project with a single staff,...

Re: Is it possible to edit Speedy keyboard commands?
I'm using the latest version, but I'm not sure what it is (25.??) as I'm not in front of it at the moment.
Looking in the plugins folder, it looks like TGTools already has a folder in it. Does Finale come with the Lite version of this plugin?

Re: Is it possible to edit Speedy keyboard commands?
Thanks for the reply. To clarify, I'm not using MIDI at all. I intended to use my computer keyboard to input into Finale, yes. I actually came across TG Tools when initially looking for this feature, but from what I understand, it is only available in the full version, and I'm not too keen on spendi...

Re: Is it possible to edit Speedy keyboard commands?
As far as I could tell, that lets you remap MIDI input, but not keyboard input. I'm looking to actually change the default keybinds, such as what key inputs notes or what keys move the carat around the bar.

Is it possible to edit Speedy keyboard commands?
I see the option to create my own keybind setup for Simple entry mode, but not for Speedy. Is this possible to do?

Re: What kinds of hotkeys can you change?
Ok, thanks for the info. That all makes sense. So, if I'm understanding it correctly, there is no way to use a hotkey to 'enable' an articulation, so that any future notes created will have the articulation applied to it? (in the same way that you can have a hotkey "enable" things like note duration...

What kinds of hotkeys can you change?
I have seen the "Simple" hotkey editor, however this only allows you to change shortcuts for things like note duration, note entry, etc. I can create a shortcut to add articulation. However, when I use that shortcut, it opens a dialogue box asking me to hit the key for the corresponding articulation...
