Thanks for your response. I'm stil a little disappointed about it. I really wanted to use Musio patches, but Musio only loads a vst3. I will try the workaround you mentioned.

I have version 27, I'd love to be able to use Musio for sounds except that it only installs a VST 3. I haven't upgraded to Kontakt 7, so I can still Kontakt 6 n Finale. Kontakt 7 only uses VST 3. Do I really have to add an extension to chrome? I don't see how that is applicable to my problem

I use Kontakt 6. The first time I add it, I can go to EDIT Player and select my instrument.
If I then want to change it later, Clicking on EDIT PLAYER does not open Kontakt or respond at all.
Any ideas of what may be happening. I'm using Finale Version 27.3.0.137

My workaround. I found that if I go to NEW>Document Setup Wizard>SATB+Piano then click NEXT and then NEXT again, I get the page view error. Update layout does not resolve. I'm beginning to believe the the Choral template is corrupt. I've never used that one before. When I create the new file, for a second it flashes correctly, but then goes to the picture I've uploaded for page view.

This only seems to happen when I use setup wizard for choral SATB Piano template. All others work fine in Page and Scroll. Does anyone else experience the same problem?

I see it works with sibelius. Has anyone tried with finale? In this mode articulations are supposed to integrate seamlessly. I love the demos of ver. 2 and that would be the final feature that would make me put out the money for the program.

I am using Windows 10 with 16gb memory. Finale V25.5.0.290 In V25 of Finale, in the Help file it shows that you can Enable Inter-Application Ports. Supposedly Finale will generate some ports that other applications can use for midi. I'm hoping that by doing that I might be able to add them in Sonar ...
