Ah. You said "chord," but the arpeggio is not a chord in the Finale sense. You could use cross-staff for the arpeggio but then write the whole notes on two staves. If you're using non-standard notation and want your first version to look almost like it should in the final draft, I'd still suggest you shut off Automatic Spacing after you have made the basic entries and before manually setting any tweaks. I want to make a giant arpeggio chord cross stafffor the harp.

I am plotting the chord in the botttom staff before using the cross staff plug-in,
but finale only lets me have 12 tones in a staff and no more, so I cant complete the chord.

How do I extend this limit ?
