I have never used the standalone mode.

I upgraded to Kontakt 6 and I selected Kontakt 6 from score manager and I don't hear any sound at all.
With Kontakt 5, there was no problem. Is there anyone experienced the same problem?

After unchecking the "Float Rest" checkbox I was able to insert a quarter note with no problem.

In your case, did the note in v1 stay at F#?
In my case, the note in v1 went down to B right after I press ' and enter [5].

I tested "Avoid collision of unisons" with all three different states and that doesn't change anything. One problem I noticed is that right after I insert a v2 note to F#, the v1 note shift down to B and I had to move it to F# again. I think this is not right. Yes, you are right that the voice 2 method is better than the layer method.
One problem I have is that unlike zuill's image two stems don't share the same note.

The attached file shows the problem I mentioned.
I mute chord from the score manager.

I found what the problem is. There is a conflict with chords.
If I remove chords, then there is no problem.
If I play notes while muting chords, then I hear silence form the second note of the tie.

This looks like a bug.

If I make a new file, then tie is working o.k.
This means that there is something is wrong with that file.
If I remove everything except two measures, then this issue remains.
But I can't find what is causing this issue though.

I did "Clear Selected Items..." to remove Articulation, Expression ... etc but the file size remains at 1.6 MB.

Regarding to the device setup, I set it to max of 4096 but the issue still remains. Thanks.

When I tried to post a testing file (1.6MB), I am getting the following message:

The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 250 KiB.

Is there a way to get around this limit? I made a testing file with two measures only.

I just noticed that there is an issue with Finale 25.5.0.259 playing a tie (I know the difference between tie and slur).
Finale only play the first note and drop the second. Am I the only one seeing this issue?
