Can I bump this?

I really need some help with this, I'm currently forced to use Aria and I really dislike it.

I had to reset my computer due to several different issues, and after doing so and reinstalling Finale 2014.5, I suddenly have this new issue: in Score Manager, I cannot change my staff's instruments or the sounds I want to go with them. This occurs when using Garritan as well as SmartMusic SoftSynt...

I've been especially careful to check if the measures have filled with rests at the end, and have even unchecked the setting that does that automatically just in case. Still nothing. I'm hesitant to reinstall Finale since this is the first time after reinstalling and reinstalling and reinstalling......

When you say “inserting notes” you mean clicking them in with the mouse, right? Yes, that is what I meant. Maybe you need to un-check Check For Extra Notes in Simple Entry Prefs.
