Miker, As per your suggestion I tried restarting the computer, and also tried a hard reboot, but still my 2nd cello won't respond to my pizz expression. instrument not responding to pizz command
I have PrintMusic 2012. I have a piece where the 2nd cello part in my multi-stave system suddenly is not responding to my pizz instruction, why is that? thanks,Tom

adding a new staff to an existing system
i'm looking to add a contrabass part to just a portion of my score at the end of the piece. (further, i am not sure of the difference between a system and a group.) any thoughts?

I found the solution, you just simply show the empty staves again for the selected region and go from there...
