Re: Experiences with Scanscore Anyone?

This company also has a BIAB alternative, Bandora. Anyone heard of that one? https://bandora.com/en/

This probably won't help whatsoever, but just in case: https://usermanuals.finalemusic.com/Fin ... inting.htm

Re: Music Production / Samples

Never heard of lucid samples, and this was all my google search turned up: https://luc.id/

Could you explain more of what you meant?

Re: Question for composers

Go with the one that has more texture/ sounds more finished/filled out/complete!

Yep, should work with the # symbol. If not, check back in.

Handwritten scores won’t work. Period.
Can confirm: handwritten scores don't work (or with any other music scanning software. Just too many inconsistencies with handwritten for technology to be able to pick up.)

Re: Experiences with Scanscore Anyone?

Thanks for the comments! I tried out scanscore (super happy to have that voucher). It's definitely great to have the ability to edit the scan before exporting.

Experiences with Scanscore Anyone?

Does anyone know about ScanScore? Is it worth the money? I just received a $20 voucher for it, but I don't know if it's a good deal. The product demo looks nice and it seems to do the job. But in the demo you can't export, so I don't know if it would work with Finale. https://scan-score.com/en/

Re: Converting scanned music to Finale in 25X

I found this software, called Scanscore: https://scan-score.com/en/

Has anyone used it, and would it be good for this purpose?

Check your settings to make sure it's not automatically transposing!

It allows you to copy and paste multiple different sections at the same time.

Re: Making Chord symbols play arpeggio

Either write out the chords (and attach the arpeggio articulation) or write it out as individual notes.

Re: Tenor Guitar

I would try Ernie Ball strings. If those don't work, La Bella or Aquila. Even D'Addario could be something to try. Also make sure to tune your instrument gradually, letting it sit a day between each whole step change.

Re: Guitar Tab x

This is what I usually do, hopefully it works for you:

Click the Selection tool
Select the region containing the notes you want to change
Choose Utilities > Change > Noteheads
