Re: Finale on a portrait monitor?

Hey Michel, My monitor is indeed in portrait mode and there are no issues with the mouse. The actual truth of the matter is too embarrassing to admit in a public forum. (I can't believe my own stupidity!) Thanks everyone for your input. I now have one monitor working correctly in landscape, the othe...

Re: Finale on a portrait monitor?

My monitor is in portrait mode. I managed this through Windows.

The issue I'm trying to resolve has to do with the mouse which remains in landscape mode so when I scroll left-right the cursor moves up and down.

Re: Finale on a portrait monitor?

The portrait monitor is great for full orchestral scores. I see you only have 1 screen. How did you manage the mouse orientation? When I got my screen to portrait mode the mouse didn't get the memo so when I'd scroll left to right, for example, the cursor would move up and down.

Re: Finale on a portrait monitor?

Switching the orientation of a display is easily done via Windows. I've done so but the issue is that Finale still displays in landscape (the default) mode and does not take advantage of the vertical real estate.

Finale on a portrait monitor?

I would like to display the page view on a "portrait" monitor as opposed to a monitor in the typical "landscape" view. I do not wish to change the orientation of the actual score - portrait score remains portrait when printing - just the way it displays on the monitor so that I can see more of the p...

Crash when moving newly created Expression

Quite often when moving a newly created expression in Page View, Finale will crash. The recovery system is good at retrieving the file but the crashing is a major pain. Is this a known issue? I did a search before posting and didn't find anything specific. Thanks JRN Finale Version: 25.5.0.290 Windo...
