How can I connect, in a group of 3 eighth notes, the beam of the first note with the third (both stem down). The second note stands apart (stem up). I'm notating Bach's 6th cello suite where the "stem down notes" are to be played on a lower string and the "stem up" notes on a higher open string.

Although not a beginner, I haven't been able to find out why tempo alterations are not reproduced in my documents. Can someone teach me?

Than you very much. The problem was the Insert options were not highlighted, until I drew a frame.

You can try less bars in a staff or use a smaller size for the lyrics.

Editing linked parts in attached score doesn't produce the right part name. For instance: Document>Edit Part>Violin I is named Score, and so on with all the parts. Maybe I deleted the default "Score Name Insert". I tried to replace it, but didn't manage. I spent hours to find a solution. Please help!
